We had a great weekend. Spent it with family, which is why we moved back to NorCal last year.

Started our day at BOSS Church with a great message by Efrem Smith. As I wrote on Good Friday, I’ve been wanting to reconnect and this was the right message for me.

After church we visited my mother-in-law and nieces, then headed to the park. I made Easter egg nests – both sugar cookie and cheesecake because I love baking. I don’t know if it was because I’ve been on a diet but man they were good! haha

I made my nephew, Matix, a Disney themed basket again this year. This was actually his second Easter. Last year, despite him not even being awake for most of Easter I couldn’t go without making my only nephew and Easter basket so I made him a Disney themed basket with Tsum Tsums.

This year I was able to Easter egg hunting at Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure. So I got Matix a Mickey, Minnie, Woody and Jessie Easter eggs.

I made Siah a little basket for his first Easter and for fun I bought the boys bunny ears because they are too cute.

It was a great day but most of all I can’t forget the reason for Easter. “He is risen.”
