On March 21, 2006 Twitter launched as twttr and @Jack wrote his first tweet.

I joined in 2008 and I’d have to say it’s my favorite social media platform. I learn so much and love how current events can be live tweeted. I also like it to live tweet during a TV show. haha. This was my first tweet.

I’m so thankful for Twitter. As they continue to try and make the platform work, I hope they always stay true to what Twitter is. 140 character conversations.
